Beacon of Hope Champions provides a collective of services supporting our Pillars of Hope: awareness, advocacy, education, and support to faith leaders and the community at large.

Pastoral Counseling

Offering counseling services to those who may be experiencing spiritual and faith conflicts due to their mental health condition.

Training & Development

Providing several educational presentations about mental and emotional health, training and development for faith communities to implement mental health ministries, and serving as a panelist for seminars/workshops. The Lighthouse with Dr. T

Our flagship program, a monthly broadcast aired on Facebook and YouTube Live, focusing on topics about emotional and mental wellbeing as well as honest conversations about ministry and mental health.

Advocacy

Beacon of Hope Champions collaborates with fellow advocacy organizations Florida Mental Health Advocacy Coalition and NAMI Pensacola to promote and push legislation at the State level to increase various mental health resources to be available to those who need it.

EscaRosa Suicide Prevention Coalition is a passionate and dedicated group of professionals with a mission to eliminate suicide in the community. In partnership with the Escambia Children’s Trust, Escambia Connects provides Informal Mental Health Support Services in the Escambia County area within zip codes 32501 & 32505 through their 4-tier system of education & awareness, basic care, case management, and connection to formal systems. The Gulf Coast Sexual Assault Program provides services to adult and minors who have experienced sexual violence or human trafficking throughout Northwest Florida including the following counties: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Gulf, Jackson, Calhoun, Washington, and Holmes. Free trauma counseling is available to victims and survivors as well. A 24 Hour Hotline serves to provide immediate telephone crisis intervention services to all primary and secondary persons who have experienced sexual violence.
